I just picked up Tove Skutnabb-Kangas‘ co-edited book on linguistic human rights…
I like her opening to her homepage, “I am what I write?” ­čÖé There are many links to follow. (go there again!) Many Deaf education and interpreter training programs use her work.

  1. Blommaert refers to Skuttnab-Kangas as indicative of a particular discourse about language – was it the one where language is conceived as essentially static and therefore easily linked to ethnolinguistic identity?
