Dear Sam,
I am sorry to learn of what you are having to go through, but so thankful for doctors and hospitals and all they do for us when we need them. You are in my thoughts often and I pray for you almost every day. I think of the two school years and part of a summer we roomed together and can't think of a single cross word exchanged between us. God loves you more than you can imagine and so do I. I certainly hope to see you again in Heaven when this life is ended on planet earth.

Ila - it feels great to know you're out there thinking of me and visible. :-) I'm tired, but hanging in. We don't really know if/how long this recovery will last but selfishly we all want Sam around for as long as possible - especially as long as HE wants to be around.

just hang in there. It will be over at some point. Hope Hana is well and seeing her made you happy even if it was for seven seconds. You know, she will grow up very soon and will be able to decide things for herself. I know this is a very hard tie for you but it wont stay. Say hi to Sam for me and stay well.

BTW, Scott and I are fine. We are still getting to know each other so it is a very beautiful phase. I like him quite a bit:)
