Communication in Crisis
A very fitting title and theme for the upcoming conference hosted by graduate students in the Communication Department here at UMass.

I'm actually excited about the CFP and the theme. Gotta love the ambiguity of the theme: crisis IN comm, and comm RELATED TO instances of crisis. Cool. I envision an intellectually diverse crowd at this ocnference.

Me too. :-) I think the organizers did a great job integrating the macrosocial field with the metonymic planning crisis we enacted last spring.
